Installation Notes:

A. Before installing the demo check to see if you have the following required Windows files installed on your PC:

ASYCFILT.DLL
MFC42.DLL
MSVCRT.DLL
OLEAUT32.DLL
OLEPRO32.DLL
STDOLE2.TLB

Windows 95: Look in C:\Windows\System
Windows 98: Look in C:\Windows\System or C:\Windows\System32

If you don't have these files on your PC you must install them Before installing AChartPro™. If you have attempted to install AChartPro™, you'll need to un-install it, install the missing files, then re-install AChartPro™.

If you are missing these files you can download a program here that will install these files on your PC:

Download DLL Install Program. NOTE: Program size is 2.2 meg

Save this file to a temporary directory then run the program to install the DLL's

B. Laptop Installation:

If you are installing on a laptop, be sure to shut down the battery meter. Almost all of the laptops out there include a battery meter application that indicates how much charge is left on the laptop. This battery meter application usually uses the OLE Automation DLLs and YOU WILL NEED TO TURN IT OFF IN ORDER FOR THE INSTALLATION TO COMPLETE CORRECTLY.
