Great news!! I now have a quote for the receivers.
The new machine shop is getting a new HAAS machining center which should be in
service by 1 Feb 2012. Anticipated delivery of receivers is 1 March 2012.
Details:
Receiver cost: $450 + $15 Shipping
Deposit: A $100 deposit will be required for each receiver ordered.
This is a non-refundable deposit unless for some reason the shop does not complete the receivers.
If the shop does not complete the receivers then your deposit will be returned.
Final Payment: Due when receivers are ready for shipping
A number of these receivers have been made into post samples and I will send any
verified 07 SOT the drawings showing machining required to complete the receiver.

How on earth did you get the dimensions so accurate? The interrupted threads are amazing......Simply BEAUTIFUL!!!
1) Hold 65 year old interrupted thread MG15 grip in one hand. 2) Hold Orin's receiver in the other hand. 3) Slide them together and twist.
4) Feel it go together like a vault door - Goodness has been achieved
